Spaghetti with tofu and red onion

  • 100 g (4 oz) whole meal spelt spaghetti
  • 1 red onion, medium sliced
  • 100 g (4 oz) plain tofu, diced
  • Broken linseeds
  • White wine (optional)
  • Gomasio
  • Sea Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Put on the water for the pasta. Put the red onion into a frying pan with some oil and cook covered for about 10 minutes. For a stronger taste, add some wine. When the onion gets lightly golden, add the diced tofu and let it cook for about 2 minutes. Season.
Strain the pasta al dente and cook it in the sauce frying pan for 2 minutes. Add 5 capers, chopped and washed off their salt,  if you like it.
