- 500 g (17.63 oz) white flour
- ½ italian glass white wine
- ½ italian glass caster sugar plus 2 glasses to garnish
- ½ italian glass seed oil
- Aniseeds
- A pinch of salt
Put the flour on a clean and floured surface. Make a well in the centre and pour the sugar, a pinch of salt and the seed oil. Mix all the ingredients with a fork. Add the white wine and start to bring in the flour. When the dough is getting thicker, work it with the hands. When homogenous, add the aniseed. Make the dough into a ball and cut it into medium stripes, that you will unite together to form doughnuts. Sprinkle one side of them with the remaining sugar, passing them through a dish full of it.
Put them on baking tin, covered with baking parchment, with the sugared side up. Cook in the preheated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes.
